Dental Crown

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is placed over a tooth to restore its shape, size, strength, and appearance. Crowns are often recommended for teeth that have large fillings, extensive decay, fractures, or have undergone root canal treatment. They can be made from various materials such as porcelain, ceramic, metal alloys, or a combination of these materials. Crowns are custom-made to fit snugly over the tooth and are cemented into place by a dentist.

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that restores a decayed, broken, weak or worn-down tooth. Dentists also use crowns to cover dental implants and root canal-treated teeth. Made from a variety of materials, including metal, resin and porcelain, crowns last between five and 15 years with proper care.
